Senior Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases

• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of applications

• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code

• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features

• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in backend development

• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, etc.)

• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git

• Understanding of security and data protection best practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Exposure to system architecture and performance tuning
